Walter Davis Fulton, Sr., 77, beloved husband of Jamie Higbe Fulton, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his home.
Born on April 11, 1948, in Andrews, he was a son of the late Lester Ervin Fulton and the late Leona Benton Long. Mr. Fulton was a United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam war where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal of Heroism. He was a member of the American Legion of Andrews Post and was a Mason and Shriner. Mr. Fulton enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard and had a passion for old cars. Above all, he enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jamie Fulton of Andrews; three children, Kevin Fulton (Joy) of Andrews, Jeff Fulton of Andrews, and Sissy Jordan (Rodney) of Sumter; four grandchildren, Robby Fulton (Melanie) of Texas, David Fulton (Sayaka) of New Mexico, Paige Murrell (Will) of Andrews, and Kelsey Fulton of Andrews; six great grandchildren, Guy Fulton, William Fulton, Adeline Fulton, Theo Fulton, Drake Murrell, and Kinsley Murrell; special family friends, Alice Watson and Shelly McNeely; a special daughter in law, Lisa Hagy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Walter Davis Fulton, Jr.; one sister; and four brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the Fulton-Long Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at the home, 243 Big Lake Dr. Andrews, SC 29510.
