Ruth Roen Olsman Dutton

Ruth Roen Olsman Dutton, 86, wife of Jack Duane Dutton, passed away Tuesday March 18, 2025, at her home.

Born on March 5, 1939, in Van Buren, MO, she was a daughter of the late Earl Everette Olsman and the late Ida Henrietta Rollenhagen Olsman. Mrs. Dutton was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she devoted countless hours volunteering. Along with volunteering, Mrs. Dutton had a great passion for teaching people about the Bible, reading and learning new things.

Survivors include her husband of Andrews; one daughter, Rebekah Mercer (Darrell) of Georgetown; a step grandson, Ryan Mercer (Andie) of Georgetown; a special niece, Rachel Fossie (Steven) of Villa Ridge, MO; and a sister-in-law, Doris Dutton of Eagle Lake, FL.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Cole; and a brother, Bill Olsman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
