Ronnie Tisdale

Ronald “Ronnie” Tisdale, 74, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 3, 1951, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Junior Frank Tisdale and the late Fannie Mae Parker Tisdale. Mr. Tisdale retired from Santee Cooper Winyah Generating Station and attended Grace Revival Church.

Survivors include one son, Alex Tisdale (Lisa) of Sumter; two grandsons, Parker Tisdale and Crosby Tisdale both of Sumter; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Grooms; and stepfather, Jetter Nobles.

Services will be private.
