Born on December 14, 1951, in Winnsboro, LA, she was a daughter of the late Jonathan Merrill Matter and Emma Louise Baxley Matter. Mrs. Lambert served as the office manager at Andrews Medical Center for more than 25 years, where she dedicated herself to her work and the people she served. A talented and crafty woman, Mrs. Lambert enjoyed using her creativity through sewing and took pride in the things she made. She also enjoyed cooking, working on word puzzles, and reading. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she could always bring a smile and laughter to those around her.

Lambert (Maryanne) of Yulee, FL and Jessica Cribb of Andrews; five grandchildren, Mason Cribb (Kayla) of Lawrenceville, GA, Emma Grace Mezquite (Jorge) of Georgetown, Gus Lambert (Madison) of Jacksonville, FL, Abigail Morris (Justin) of Effingham and Sully Lambert of Yulee, FL; four great grandchildren, Finley Morris, Davilyn Morris, Theodore Morris and Baby Boy Mezquite; two sisters-in-law, Mackie Pope of Conway and Brenda Nesbitt (Gerald) of Andrews; two brothers-in-law, Douglas Lambert (Linda) of Andrews and Johnny Blake of Andrews; a special friend, Melanie Chandler of Hemingway; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Blake and Amanda Taylor; and one brother, Thomas Matter.
