Malcolm Everette Davis

Malcolm Everette Davis, 88, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Born on November 26, 1937, in Norway, SC, he was a son of the late Euriah Davis and the late Blease Porter Davis. Mr. Davis was a proud Clemson University graduate, earning his degree in Chemical Engineering. He went on to dedicate his entire professional career to International Paper Company, where he worked for more than 35 years before retiring. During his years at the paper mill, he was honored to be a member of the Quarter Century Club, recognizing his many years of dedicated service. Mr. Davis was also a member of the Winyah Indigo Society.

Outside of work, Mr. Davis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time at the beach, sailing, and playing golf. A devoted Clemson fan, he especially enjoyed watching the Clemson Tigers and cheering them on throughout the years.

Mr. Davis will be remembered for his dedication to his career, his love of the outdoors and the beach, and the many interests that brought him joy throughout his life. Most of all, he will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for the memories they shared together.

Survivors include his significant other, Linda Kmiec of North Litchfield Beach; two daughters, Thada Davis of Myrtle Beach and Molly Boyce (Mark) of Winchester, VA; two grandchildren, Jack B. "Trey" Coker, III (Danielle) of Tampa, FL and Zoe Gineris of Charleston; two great grandchildren, Charlotte Coker and Jackson Coker both of Tampa, FL; and numerous nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Berry.

Services will be private.
