Lavon Milligan Fenters

Lavon Milligan Fenters, 85, widow of James Fenters, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Prince George Health Care Center.

Born on March 28, 1940, in Conway, she was a daughter of the late Von Milligan and the late Georgie Shannon Milligan. Mrs. Fenters, affectionately known as the ‘hat lady’ at Prince George, attended Graves Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, James Fenters (Marilyn) Garden City and George Fenters (Marty) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Wendy Goins (David) of Murrells Inlet, Lisa Cirone (Ryan) of Forsyth, GA, Tabitha Rynbrandt (Rob) of Findlay, OH and Megan Fatzick (Tim) of Davenport, FL; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brother, Robert Milligan of Jacksonville, NC and George Allen Milligan (Ruby) of Conway; two sisters, Patsy Dickinson of Georgetown and Barbara Elliott (Billy) of Lexington, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4-6 PM Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the Rose Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church, 4572 Rose Hill Rd. Georgetown, SC 29440.
