Jon Michael DuVall, 30, beloved husband of Katie Sanders, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026.
Born on September 24, 1995, in Birmingham, AL, he was a son of Steve DuVall and Rena Michele Terry. Jon lived life with enthusiasm, purpose, and an adventurous spirit that inspired everyone who knew him. He embraced every opportunity to make memories, believing life was meant to be experienced to the fullest.
A devoted volunteer at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jon found joy in serving others and giving back to the church. His willingness to lend a helping hand reflected the kindness and generosity that defined his character.
Jon had a passion for adventure and the outdoors. Whether he was riding his motorcycle down an open road, surfing the waves, diving beneath the water's surface, or spending time hunting, he found peace and excitement in the activities he loved. He was an avid follower of the Carolina Freestyle Stunt Group and enjoyed being part of the competition car audio community through the Down 4 Sound group. Music was another of Jon's great passions, and it was never far from his heart or his daily life.
Above all else, Jon treasured his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children, sharing life's adventures, teaching valuable lessons, and creating memories they will carry with them forever. He believed in leading by example, encouraging them to work hard, live boldly, and appreciate every moment. His love, wisdom, and adventurous spirit will continue to guide them throughout their lives.
