John Michael Harris

John Michael Harris, 55, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home.

Born on April 5, 1969, in Charleston, he was a son of the late Harold Harris and the late Ida Mae Hardee Phillips. Mr. Harris was born and raised in the close-knit community of Lamberttown, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends. A man of simple pleasures, Mr. Harris enjoyed fishing and working on cars. His greatest companion in life was his beloved dog. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to his gentle and kind nature. 

Survivors include three sisters, Valerie Waldrop (Robert) of Andrews, Alicia Amerson (Michael) of Georgetown and Kimberly Marsh (Barry) of Manning; a half-brother, Milton Hardee of Murrells Inlet; two nieces, Ashley Brandon (Wesley) of Georgetown and Beverly Barnes (Travis) of Pawleys Island; and two nephews, Bill Lambert of Andrews and Tony Barnes (Lesley) of Andrews.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother, James Lee.

Services will be private.
