Jessica Chavez Page

Jessica Chavez Page, 38, went to be with her Heavenly Father & Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, September 7, 2026, after two long battles with cancer.

Born on October 21, 1987, Jessica was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, where she served in children’s and youth ministries while her husband served as the worship drummer. Jessica’s heart for children’s ministry was deeply rooted in her love for serving others, from volunteering her time tutoring young Hispanic students at the public library, helping with Teach My People in Pawleys Island and leading the Good News club at Kensington Elementary in Georgetown for many years. She was deeply selfless in every way. Jessica had a pure heart for God while leading people to Him, the most beautiful person inside and out. No matter where she was, Jessica always found a way to witness and pray with all those she encountered. Heaven gained one of its most loyal, purest and most powerful angels.

Jessica will be greatly missed, but her legacy of faith will live on in the lives of so many she touched and discipled. The pain and suffering are no more, and we will continue to serve the Lord until we see her again. Mi amor forever and forever my heart and my soul long for only you. Extremely well done as God’s good and faithful servant.

Survivors include her husband, soulmate and life’s love whom she adored, Kail Page; precious dogs Beau, Bella and High Ball; mother, Lucila Rostro Diaz, whom Jessica loved dearly and learned how to follow Jesus, brothers Luis Chavez (Maris) and Juan Tonee Balderas (Hannah P); and five sisters, Lupe Howell, Luz Elena Chavez, Chele Chavez, Claudia Blehm and Cynthia Harrelson. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews who she prayed for and pleaded the blood of Jesus over—Alora Chavez, Elizabeth Blehm, Olivia Vargas, Rebecca Vargas, Hazel Howell, Hayden Howell, Lucas Chavez, Aaron Chavez, Jenson Chavez and EJ Blehm—they were the joy of her life each day.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 12, 2026, at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday at the church.
