James Donnis Necaise, 79, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at his home.
Born on March 2, 1947, in Georgetown, he was the son of the late James Necaise and the late Mazie Brown Necaise. A true car enthusiast, Mr. Necaise had a passion for rebuilding and restoring cars. He found great satisfaction in bringing old vehicles back to life, and there were few things he enjoyed more than spending time in the garage with a project waiting to be completed. When he wasn't working on cars, he could often be found relaxing on his porch with his faithful dog by his side. Above all else, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in all he did, and the memories they created together will forever remain in their hearts.
He will be remembered as a man of quiet faith, his wonderful sense of humor and his love for his family.
Survivors include a daughter Kristin Necaise (Tiffany); two grandchildren, Juliana Necaise and Jude Necaise; one sister, Bonnie Charlton (Ron); one nephew, Ron J. Charlton; one great nephew, Ron Charlton Jr.; two great nieces, Taylor Charlton and Sara Caroline Charlton; and his beloved fur baby, Boo.
He was preceded in death by two special friends. Squiz Lightsey and Glenn Harter.
Services will be private.
