Herbert Eugene Wilder

Herbert Eugene Wilder, 74, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at his home. Born on January 9, 1941, in Andrews, he was a son of the late William James Wilder, Jr. and the late Olna Ogburn Wilder. Mr. Wilder enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Wilder was one of a kind and lived life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his companion, Terry Sanderson of Andrews; four children, William Eugene Wilder of Little River, Tina Morris of Myrtle Beach, Jessica Wilder of Georgetown and Erica Wilder of Andrews; 11 grandchildren, Brandon, Tressa, Paige, Alyssa, Megan, Jacob, Michael, Haley, Logan, Khloe and Peyton; one great grandchild, Zoey; two sisters, Hazel Duncan of Thomasville, AL and Helen Scott of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Hallie Zeigler; and three brothers, Hillburn Wilder, William James Wilder, Jr. and Carlise Wilder. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Miles officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at 614 Wraggs Ferry Road, Georgetown, SC 29440.
