Gretty Ann Zurcher

Gretty Ann Zurcher, 82, wife of Archie C. Zurcher passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Born on July 20, 1943, in Marion, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dock Champion Barnhill and the late Juley Idell Johnson Barnhill. Mrs. Zurcher was a member of Georgetown First Assembly of God, where she previously served as Sunday School Secretary and was part of the “49’ers” group. In her spare time, she found great joy in painting, creating crafts, baking for those she loved, browsing yard sales, and collecting antiques and jewelry.

Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; two sisters, Mildred Fesler of Goose Creek and Janice Howell of Georgetown; special family members, Jeff Lewis, Shirley Lewis, Tom Olejniczak, Jennifer Olejniczak, Caitlin Olejniczak and Cameron Olejniczak; a sister-in-law, Burnic Bunch of Cross; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by two children, Keith Zurcher and Rainey Lynn Zurcher; two brothers, Dock Junior Barnhill and Dwight Barnhill; and two sisters, Vivian Martin and Geraldine Causey.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Monday, May 18, 2026, at Georgetown First Assembly of God.

The family will receive friends 10 AM – 11 AM Monday at the church.
