Eric Vance Grantham

Eric Vance Grantham, 61, beloved husband of Christina R. Grantham, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 25, 1964, in Conway, he was a son of Jo Ann Skipper Grantham and the late Bobby Andrew Grantham. Eric found immense joy in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, feeling the freedom of the open road. His love for adventure was matched by his passion for fishing, where he found peace and contentment being on the water. These activities were not just hobbies for Eric but opportunities to reflect on life's simple pleasures.

Family was the cornerstone of Eric's life. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, whether it was sharing a meal, enjoying a day out fishing, or simply being together. Eric's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his gentle nature, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Survivors include his wife, Christina R. Grantham of Hemingway; mother, Jo Ann Skipper Grantham of Georgetown; six children, Andrews J. "AJ" Grantham of Georgetown, Shelia Aiken (Kyle Freeman) of Kingstree, Brooke Cecile (Charlie Cherry) of Scranton, Chelsey Amerson (Mikie) of Georgetown, MaKayla Aiken of Hemingway and Deborah Aiken (Brandon Kinney) of Hemingway; ten grandchildren, Alivia Jones, Jaycee Freeman, Kaydence White, Kynsleigh White, Kaislynn White, Erica Aiken, Nevaeh Aiken, Niklaus Aiken, Madalynn Douglas and Raelee Kinney; and one brother, Gary Grantham (Patty) of Panama.

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Darlene Grantham.

Funeral services will be held 6 PM Friday, May 29 at Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
