Elisa Tisdale

Elise Parker Tisdale, 95, widow of Donald Alexander Tisdale, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025.

Born on August 14, 1930, in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Parker and the late Hattie Barfield Parker. Mrs. Tisdale enjoyed the simple pleasures in life that included sitting on her porch, working in her flower beds and fishing. Her family was her biggest accomplishment, and she always enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Tisdale was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Don Tisdale (Molly) of Kingstree and Elisia Hodge of Andrews; two great grandchildren, Alex Scott of Kingstree and Lee Scott (Katie) of Hemingway; one great great grandchild, Evie Scott of Hemingway; one sister, Faye Borres of Orange, TX; a son-in-law, Harold Lawrimore of Hemingway; and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by a son, LaRue Tisdale; a daughter, Jenny Lawrimore; a great granddaughter, Katey Tisdale; and two sister, Christine Wrenn and Earline Wise.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Monday, November 10, 2025, in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
