Christopher Neil Ray

Christopher Neil Ray, 50, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 19, 1975, in Georgetown, he was the son of Judy Ann Rabon and the late Ronnie O’Neal Ray. Chris was a country boy at heart who enjoyed the simple things in life that included watching a good movie, refurbishing furniture, antiques and fixing things. Most of all, Chris had a great love for his daughter and enjoyed spending time with her.

Survivors include his mother of Georgetown; a daughter, Caitlyn Nicole Ray of Georgetown; stepchildren, Katie Cribb and Harley Parker both of Georgetown; best friends, Donald Rabon (Deanne) and Timmy Blakely all of Georgetown; an aunt, Barbara Bryant and her family; the mother of his daughter, Suzanne Miller of Georgetown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronny Ray; his long-term girlfriend, Tonya Forbes; and brother, Junior Hartley.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends following the service in the mausoleum.
