Carolyn Ann Woody Malott Bard, 73, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at her home.
Born on May 8, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Donald Woody and the late Goldie Fouts Woody. Mrs. Bard was a faithful churchgoer; she found strength and comfort in her relationship with God and cherished the fellowship of her church family. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburg Steelers, the Atlanta Braves and Ohio State. More than anything, Mrs. Bard treasured the time she spent with her beloved family.
Survivors include four children, Marcie Tompkins (Rey), Christina Malott, James Malott, Jr. and Caitlin Bard; 12 grandchildren, Derrick Tompkins (Brooke), Carolyn Espinoza (Uriel), Candice McClellan (Sean), Phillip Paul (Leah), Christopher Paul (Stephanie), Austin Bell (Ryan), Casey Bell (Nick), Garrett Carolina, Alex Cruz, Ceasar Cruz, Aurona Cruz and Samantha Mescher; 21 great grandchildren, Adriana Espinoza, Luke Espinoza, Blake Espinoza, Grace Tompkins, Alexa Tompkins, Christian Geddings, Makayla McClellan, Rayleigh McClellan, Gilbert Risch, Noah Wallace, Micah Wallace, Mitchel Paul, Hayden Paul, Brian Paul, Lilly Johnson, Gracelyn Truluck, Shyanna Truluck, Jayden Truluck, Alexis Bridgeman, Landon Cannon and Grayson Cannon; a Goddaughter, Twyla Morant-Washington; one sister, Gayle Britton (John); one brother, Donald Ray Woody (Shirley); special friends, Amanda Powell (Alonzo); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Woody and Goldie Woody; husbands, James Malott, Sr. and Gary Bard; three sisters, Donna Lynn Foxworth, Loretta Thompson and Regina Woody; and one brother, Rick Woody.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Andrews Church of God.
