Carol Ann Cribb Ward

Carol Ann Cribb Ward, 70, widow of Jay Ward, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home.

Born on May 19, 1956, in Hemingway, she was a daughter of the late Thoams Ralph Cribb and the late Mae Perline Singleton Cribb. Mrs. Ward was a member of Center Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her beloved family.

Survivors include her companion, Grover Monroe Norris, of Hemingway; two children, Peggy Gray of Georgetown and Jason Ward (Brianna) of Seneca; five grandchildren, Nathan Hartley, Madison Hartley, Chloe Neal, Shawn Michau and Heather Michau; six great grandchildren, Anthony Hamilton, Julius Green, Rezzy Michau, Nathan Michau, Haylee Michau and Allison Micahu; one sister, Janis Whitnauer of Georgetown; one brother, Dennis Cribb of Hemingway; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Leroy Hartley; one brother, Larue Cribb; and one sister, Jeanette Britt.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Center Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the graveside.
