Bonnie Michau Jacobs, 73, wife of Carlon Jacobs, Jr., passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at East Cooper Medical Center.
Born on August 22, 1951, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Watson Michau and the late Corrie Mae Jones Walker. Mrs. Jacobs had a passion for crafts and gardening. She paired her passion with her talents and created many meaningful treasures and beautifully arranged flower arrangements. Mrs. Jacobs had a gift for conversation. She was effortlessly connected with people and was always ready to lend a listening ear. Mrs. Jacobs’ greatest joy, however was spending time with her family. She cherished the time she spent with her beloved husband, children and grandchildren, who were all her pride and joy. Mrs. Jacobs’ legacy is one of love, creativity and compassion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Survivors include Carlon Jacobs, Jr. of Georgetown; five children, Melissa Jacobs Staats of Georgetown, Deanna Ray (Bradley) of Andrews, Kyle Michau (Emily) of Georgetown, Angela Smith of Georgetown and Tina McCormick and Tabitha Parsons of Georgetown ; six grandchildren, Jacob Staats, Justin Staats, Tiffany Hewett, Mallory Ray, Presley Kate Michau and Kelly Dail; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Rose of Union and Roxanne Jordan of Georgetown; one brother, Raymond Michau of Myrtle Beach, James Michau (Mary) of Andrews and Mark Michau of Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by a brother, William Wayne Michau.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, May 2, 2025, at Georgetown Church of God. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
