Alfred Wayne Belcher

Alfred Wayne Belcher, 48, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2026, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 5, 1977, in Georgetown, Mr. Belcher was the son of the late Larry Belcher and the late Helen Mercer Belcher. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was proud of his children and loved sharing stories about them with anyone who would listen. He also had a fondness for sweets and favorite snacks, including Oreos, Little Debbie cakes, rainbow sherbet, and Lemonheads.

Survivors include his three children, Timothy Belcher (Madison), Amber Belcher (Matthew), and Zachary Belcher (Sarah); six grandchildren, Brady Craven, Faith Craven, Canaan Belcher, Elloree Hanna, Morwenna Belcher and Weston Craven; a sister, Bobbie Moore; three nieces, Danielle Jayroe (Greg), Kimberly Moore (William), and Frances Donnelly; two nephews, James Donnelly, Jr. (Mariah) and Allen Barnes (Whitney), and a close friend, Ronald “Doright” Brown along with numerous great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Rhonda Rogers and a brother-in-law Dan Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Georgetown First Assembly of God. Burial will be private.
